how has digital technology affected music?

1. A whole lot it shouldn't even be called music it should be called computer noise.
2. Highly debatable. Some would say more options. Others would say that you end up with a colder more quantised feel. If you are any good you can work in the digital medium and stil make it sound the way you want it to sound
3. Instrument wise it has cheapened the value now you can play pre-recorded notes off a keyboard instead of learning how to play the piano and a lot of people will take the easy way out and instead of learning to play an instrument use pre-recorded instrument notes. This takes away the originality of an artist, plus I REALLY APPRECIATE AN ARTIST WHEN HE PLAYS HIS OWN MUSIC. It has also affected it that kids can get to lyrically inappropriate music easier now, but it has it numerous pluses but the negatives I mentioned above mess it up for me
