How has the use of digital technology (digital images) have changed our way of life?
How has the use of digital technology and those who use and have access to it have changed?

- Well, for one thing, being able to take a picture and have it ready to use in a matter of seconds is convenient. The speed at which the image is ready for use contributes to how fast it can be shared with others. It also beats having to buy and develop film (I'm not even going to get into the whole "digital vs film" debate). So, being able to create and share these digital images in the blink of an eye means information is conveyed (especially over the Net) much faster.
- True digital images can be shared much more quickly. But I also think digital images, have influence the way we look at things...we look at the images more cynically. What I mean, now we question things we see, for the fact that images, (still or video), can be altered. Images can look 'too perfect' or unbelievable. Digital images can be manipulated. I love my digital camera and how I can share my pictures with family and friends easily. But I think film is still an important media.
