Digital technology of today. What is next for the future?

Currently, we are taking huge adventage of the digital technology, which uses digits in the comtuper sistem. I am wondering, what will replace the digital technology. As you know, digital technology has it's own disadventave. It's a complete square shaped. What do you think about the future technology?
