Transferring home DVD to digital file for Internet posting???

I have recorded some home videos from my camera to a DVD using a DVD recorder. I now want to convert that DVD material into a digital file that will be recognized on Window's Media Player/Movie Maker (import video selection). I don't have an adequate video capture component for my computer (can't hook up my camera to computer). How can I do this?? What would be the best way to post the DVD material to the Internet??

1. Hi, Try converting the DVD files to DIVX or Mpeg files using convertors like Apollo DVD maker. DIVX will reduce the size of the files enormously while maintaining the quality of the video magnificent enough to be posted on websites.
