- I agree with Jap's answer but I would suggest you get 1.0GB of RAM memory. If you do a lot of video editing, I would also invest in an external hard drive with at least 120GB of memory. That way you can back up your videos and free up your laptop. Also, make sure you get a laptop with a DV connection so that you can easily transfer your movies from your camera directly to the laptop.....good luck!
- The more you can get, the better. Depends on what size of clips you are handling.
- Well I use a Intel Celeron M 410 @ 1.46 GHz with 512 MB RAM and 128 MB ATI Graphics Card and I can do basic digital home video editing but as with everything the more the better. Try using dual core as then you can do more.
