how do i replace the batteries in my digital home thermostat?

1. open the left panel and replace them with 2 fresh AA bat.s
2. You didn't say what type of thermostat it is, but you usually need to take the thermostat off the wall, and look at the back of it. Some thermostats take AA batteries, and others take AAA batteries
