to what extent has new digital technology effected the news media?

1. It has made it possible for real time reporting so that as something is happening, everyone is informed about it instantly and on a global scale, instead of after the fact. We are studying this in my English Master's class right now.
2. So many different angles, styles, & "opinions" it is hard to know sometimes what the truth is.
